  • If you have an image with no text, your ALT text should describe the image.
  • If your image has a caption, don’t just repeat the caption. Instead, have your ALT text offer different yet relevant information.
  • If an image has text on top of it or inlaid in the design, be sure to include those words and details in the ALT text.
